Miss Caribbean LA is a vibrant annual pageant and cultural platform that celebrates the beauty, intelligence, and leadership of Caribbean women in Los Angeles. Founded to uplift and amplify voices from the Caribbean diaspora, we showcase powerful women who are rooted in their heritage and committed to creating change in their communities. Through storytelling, talent, and service, Miss Caribbean LA honors the richness of Caribbean identity while building bridges across cultures in Southern California and beyond.

Meet Chef Bernard James

Bringing diverse flavors of the Caribbean to every dish he meticulously creates for over 20 years, Chef Bernard James rich culinary history of the islands of the Caribbean to his immersive love for West Indian food offers a new, authentic culinary experience Hollywood didn’t know it needed.


Chef Bernard James is the founder behind the first Caribbean dine-in restaurant in the heart of Hollywood, CA, Taste of the Caribbean L.A.

OUR INTIATIVE


The Miss Caribbean LA Organization proudly partners with the Lymphoma Research Foundation and Corlette Malcolm James Charities to support critical cancer research and advocacy. Together, we are committed to raising awareness and funding in honor of lives impacted by lymphoma, channeling the strength of our Caribbean community into meaningful change and a future without cancer.
